Welcome!
I would like to let you have the chance to get to know a little bit about us. My husband, David and I are raising our family on our Thoroughbred farm in Indiana. We have been breeding and racing Thoroughbreds since 1995.
In February 2005, we were watching the Westminster dog show. A beautiful little dog caught my husband's eye. It was a Havanese! The more we learned about the breed, the more we were drawn to them. I gathered all the information I could find and then searched for the right breeder.
Maggie, CH. Simcox's Rising Angel, was our first Havanese. I decided to show Maggie myself since I had shown horses as a child and loved it. Maggie and I learned off each other. She recieved her AKC championship July 22, 2006 owner-handled all the way!
The Havanese Club of America voted me in as a member in August 2007. It is a great accomplishment to be accepted and says a lot about my breeding program.
I am a volunteer for Havanese Rescue. I am a co-founder of the Queen City Havanese Club located in Cincinnati, Oh.
I believe in fully health testing the dogs I plan to breed. I follow the Havanese Club of America's health guideline recommendations.
Feel free to navigate around my website and call or e-mail me with any questions you may have.
